1. Information we collect

When you create a PumpDemo account, we collect:

• Account information: your email address and a display name you choose. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
• Profile details: an optional profile photo, if you choose to upload one.
• Simulated trading activity: the trades you make, coins you watch, and P&L history within the app — all of this reflects the simulation only, not any real financial position.
• Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data: basic technical information like your browser type and general activity within the app, used to keep things running and to fix problems.

2. How we use it

We use the information above to:

• Create and maintain your account
• Save your simulated trading history so it persists between sessions
• Process subscription payments and manage your plan
• Communicate with you about your account (for example, a payment receipt or a password reset)
• Maintain the leaderboard and ranking features, which are visible to other users
• Improve and troubleshoot the app

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

We share limited data with the third-party services that make PumpDemo work:

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication (email/password and Google sign-in).
• Stripe — processes subscription payments. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.
• Google — if you choose to sign in with Google, standard OAuth sign-in data is exchanged as part of that process.

Your display name, avatar, and simulated trading stats (like leaderboard rank and P&L history) are visible to other PumpDemo users by design — that's how the leaderboard and social features work. We don't share your email address or payment details with other users.

4. Payments

Paid plan subscriptions are billed and processed entirely through Stripe. We never store your full card number or banking details on our own servers. Stripe may retain payment records as required by law and their own policies.

5. Cookies and local storage

PumpDemo uses cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences (like your display currency). We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we're required to retain certain records (for example, payment records) for legal or accounting purposes.

7. Your rights and choices

You can:

• Update your display name and profile photo at any time from your account settings
• Reset your simulated balance and trading history from your account settings
• Request a copy of your personal data or ask us to delete your account by contacting us (see below)
• Manage or cancel a paid subscription directly through the billing portal linked in your account settings

8. Children's privacy

PumpDemo is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we'll remove it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections and secure authentication through Supabase. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of PumpDemo after a change means you accept the updated policy.
